Motor set up goes fine, step two goes fine, enter the voltage test and it say's 100% complete but cannot continue or implement gains and then test times out. All 8 axes respond the same. Any help ?

Hello all ! I am new in the forum. I am here because I want to make some modification in one of our machines. This machine has a PMAC VMEbus control. I have found some backup files with the following extension: **.PP **.16c -> motherprogram backup **.512 (512 is the model of the machine) -> Full PMAC Configuration backup performed on 11/02/04 I have the PEWIN32 software but I can't open any of these files. I would like to have access to the source code of the motion and PLC programs. Can anyone help me? Regards

I'm running NC32 v2.36(1) on a bench-top router and am unable to make cutter compensation work. On the tool offset page I have Tool #5 Z-Geometry = 0, Z-Wear = 0, CC-Geometry = 1.5000 and CC-Wear = 1.500 My test was to just move the machine in a 4" x 4" square, to see if the spindle did have any offset from programmed square. My most recent attempt at code was: G41 X-1. Y-1. D5. All motion was over the 4" x 4" square, with out any offset - which should have been .75", from the 1.5" diameter CC Geometry entry. We have an older PC running PEWin32 Pro2 that we now need to transfer the duties of to a Windows 11 machine. The older PC is running PEWin32 Pro2 as part of its software set. I can't find much documentation on PEWin32 Pro2 and windows 11 compatibility, and I can't find any recent software updates. Has this software's functionality been transferred to another more modern program? If so, could you please point me to which package? Any help with this would be sincerely appreciated. H

Hi, I am working on a PMAC pack that is working with other two PMAC PC 833 to control a XY gantry. I wonder if there is any quick way to plug and play into the PMAC pack system to pull its "G-code" program to verify with our backup program. I tried to use the RS232 port on all three unit but none of them were seem to be fo und as COM port on a computer. I wonder if the manual said that if RS422 is taken then RS232 would be inoperative. Is there another way?

Running WinXP , PMAC NC-32 v2.36(1) on PMAC1 Isa Universal LIte, with Adv600 4-switch control panel. All other functions seem to be working, but in both MDI & AUTO mode, all the codes execute, even though I have selected 'Single Block'. Both the toggle switch on the Adv600 panel, & the software control button on screen will change, indicating that it wants to be in single block, but programs & MDI both execute all lines of code. What did I set up wrong? Or NOT set up? Cheers, Steve

Sorry for my poor English. I have trouble using Qt to develop HMI especially in transport data between Turbo Pmac and IPC. Qt use QVariant instead of Variant in DPR functions. DPRgetmem function in Qt is like: DPRGetMem(int dwDevice, int offset, int bytes, QVariant& pVal, bool& pbSuccess) However, QVariant does not have the data type of integer array or float array. Does somebody know how 'DPRsetmem' and 'DPRgetmem' functions work in Qt? Thanks.

Hello All, I am new to this forum , I have Delta Tau Data Systems Universal PMAC-Lite ISA Bus, when I plugged Delta Tau Data Systems Universal PMAC-Lite ISA card on ISA bus the PC Doesn't turn on / no display but when I unplugged the Delta Tau Data Systems Universal PMAC-Lite ISA card from the PC motherboard the PC turn on and boots up to windows , Is there any way to reset Delta Tau Data Systems Universal PMAC-Lite card back to normal condition or anyway to fix Please help me fix the problem Thank you Sumesh.

I'm using UMAC system with Turbo Pmac2 CPU, 1 servo ICs ACC24EA, they're all put into ACC-U10 UBUS Backplane. One day, I tried to registered a PComm32.dll into my laptop with connected with the UMAC by ethernet, suddenly, the servo ICs is disconnected from the system. I checked and found that the 2 PWR led were off and 4 ENC led were amber instead of green. What should I do to make the ACC-24E2A be recognized in the system again ?

Hello, I have a cnc waterjet that I runs using a delta tau PMAC lite card on an old windows 98 pc. Today when I went to home it I get no response. I can not change the axis by the switch nor will any other switch work, Even to change it to homing or automatic mode. It has been working fine for years. Would it be safe to say that the problem is in the PMAC control panel board? I found one online but I want to be sure that is it because the panel board is not cheap. Is there any way I can potentially isolate the problem? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, we are trying to fix an ASYMTEC Axiom X1010 for a customer and the connected PC has been reinstalled to Windows XP from WindowsNT, unfortunately the supplied drivers for the PMAC-PCI card show an error during installation that the .INF file is for windows 95 or later. Is there a way to get drivers for PMAC-PCI for windows XP? Thank you for any suggestions.

My installer isn't working on my WinXP . We have used this program for years. the error is "Setup requires a different version of Windows. Check to make sure that you are running Setup on the Windows Platform for which it is intended. Error 102 This is Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Hello, I recently installed Pewin32pro2 on a Windows XP computer to interface with a PMAC2A-PC/104. I acquired the software from the Delta Tau Legacy software on the Omron page, but it does not include the Site Key to my knowledge. How would I best be able to acquire a key for this software license? Thank you for your time.

Hello, I am currently using a PMAC2 PC/104, and in the documentation it says to control it with PeWIN32Pro. However, I would prefer to use a new version of the program, PeWIN32Pro 2. Is this possible? Or does this specific PMAC only work with the original PeWIN32Pro software? Thank you for your time

Delta Tau insider 1993-98, contributed some useful concepts. Still using PMACs from then, always in "Minimal-Mode". Also have a Turbo UMAC, and might consider a Power UMAC, for future. I build a few Very Simple Boards (like "Trailng-Edge"). For example: A $40 Lantronix Xport, and a $35 Rpi to run a Mill (minus the glory). Whatever it takes to keep using PMAC. Seems a simple User-Built analog-amp is Really-Needed. Control-board-only, PMAC-current-mode-only, separate power-devices (tougher & repairable). No commercial Amp-Mfr could do this, but some Humans-CAN. Thinking of the Simplest-Single-Purpose way to do it.

Goal: Change parameter settings in the ARCL command line. Problem: When I try to make any kind of parameter changes I get the same error. Below is an example of when I attempt to change the robot width. Config had at least this problem: line 11426: width not in section, client needs an upgrade. Background: I have used the "getConfigSectionList" & "getConfigSectionInfo" to identify the parameters that can be changed. So the command should work. I'm using a setup with: CPU (80 Mhz) ACC 1P ACC 2P (with USB and Ethernet) I'm having problems reestablishing an ethernet connection to the PMAC. After cold starting the PMAC I can't ping it at its usual 192.6.94.5. When I connect my Win10 via USB the PMAC is identified as "Delta Tau UMAC USB 2.0 Device No EEPROM" in the Device Manager. I can use the EthUSBConfigure.exe (from PMAC Executive Pro2 Suite 4.4.0.0) to set the IP, Protocol (TCP 1025) and the "H/W Type" (PC104) with a click on "Store IP". After replugging the USB cable the Motion controller is now identified (correctly): Delta Tau PC104 USB Device. At this point I can finally use PeWin32Pro again or ev…

Does anyone have a simple way to emulate quadrature encoder output that is tied to either motor or axis position? We have an external application that needs axis position as an AquadB signal. We can't daisy chain the encoder hardware because we are suing sine encoders and ACC51 interface. I could see doing what we need with a PLC, but not sure which outputs would be best. Is there an accessory that I am not thinking of that would help in this regard? Thanks.
