In the Geobrick-LV user manual it is only spoke about Yaskawa Sigma III 20-bit Absolute Encoder. Is it possible to have a Yaskawa 24 bits (or more bits) encoder. The reference of my encoder is RA24YUA052B15V. Thank you in advance.

Delta Tau Person in charge Thank you for your help. I have a question about PCOMMSERVERLib. VB6.0 is used for the development environment. I want to back up data such as PLC, Motion, I, P, Q, M-define like Backup-config of PeWin32Pro2. 1. Specify the file path 2. Set the item to upload (Motion, PLC, etc.) 3. Execute Upload function Is it possible to back up data by such a simple process? Is there some simple sample code that uses the Upload function? (For VB6.0)

I'm trying to control PMAC through serial port from a terminal. I tried different terminals, successful with some, e.g., Tera Term, and unsuccessful with others. It seems it's due to the terminator sent at the end of the command. What's the correct format for the command sent and status read back?

I use a ACC-72E PROFIBUS MASTER Card in my Project, and I set the SW in below configuration SW1-ON,SW2-OFF,SW3-ON,SW4- ON,SW-5-ON,Sw-6-ON, so the address DPR base address is $74000, I wants to monitor the diagnostic flags in PLC, I calculate the address for the Global_bits, DPM_state, Err_rem_adr according their offset address , their offset address is respectively 740H, 741H,742H described in manual. Global_bits; M6800->Y:$74740,16,8,U DPM_state: M6801->Y:$74741,16,8,U Err_rem_adr: M6802->Y:$74742,16,8,U the Value of Global_bits which is in Sycon is not equivalent with the value which is in UMAC. What's the matter? the address calculation is wrong ?

Delta Tau Responsible I have a question about UmacTurbo (non-Power). ■ ACC24E2A board ・ CH1 is not used (reserved) ・ CH2 is used ・ CH3 is used ・ CH4 is used ・ I7216 = 0 (Default) ・ I7226 = 3 ・ I7236 = 3 ・ I7246 = 3 ・ I100 = 0 (Disable) ・ I200 = 1 ・ I300 = 1 ・ I400 = 1 ■ Symptoms cmd "2j/" was executed, but #2 did not servo lock. Deviation anomaly also occurred. ■ Measures Changed the setting of #1. ・ I7216 = 0 (Default) ⇒ 3 ■ Result Servo lock of #2 has been completed. The motor now works. ■ Question I7mn6 must be set even for unused axes do you have? There is a description in the manual so that it can be set for each servo I…

ACC-24E2A and UMAC Turbo PMAC2 CPU Trying to use the auto-increment feature on Channel 3 of the ACC-24E2A. It triggers once and increments for the next position (values in M308 and M309 change to the proper values) but doesn't seem to trigger at the next position. From reading the documentation it appears that once set up it should continue to output the EQU pulses at even intervals. I must be missing something. ; set up axis 3 (Y infeed) to generate EQU pulses M310=INT(M392) ; Set auto increment to integer portion of axis multiplier M308=M301+50 ; set position compare A (counts) equal to the current position +50 M309=M308+10 ; set position compare B (counts) for 1…

Have a VB6 app that formerly ran on XP. upgrading PC to win7 and need the app to run. We have win7 and pcommserver currently installed. The VB app will crash currently (due to not being able to open the pmac connection) when it executes the PMACGetResponseA. If I comment out the PMACGetResponseA the app runs without communicating of course. So I've narrowed it down to it's not opening up the connection via the pcomm32.dll. PEWin32 communicates fine. Thanks in advance for the help. ^^^^ edited and updated based of new information

At some point since 2009 the GeoBrick Default I7m03 changed from 1234 to 2257. I understand that this was for reasons of limiting either the maximum ADC or DAC frequency. I have recently used a 1A geobrick variant and selected the recommended 40kHz PWM frequency , but at this rate the ADC values as read by Mxx05 are random and range from zero to full scale, even without motor power. If I reduce the ADC clock divider from 3 to 2 this reading becomes stable , but I want to be sure I don't exceed the new maximum allowable settings. Does anyone on here know what the maximum allowable settings are for the hardware clock settings of an 8 channel 1A/3A geobrick LV ru…

I am reworking an application I wrote that pulls data from DPRAM on a Turbo PMAC 2 using the GETMEM ethernet protocol and displays the axis data on a PC. Currently I have a PLC that populates M-VAR's that point to User DPR and I pulled those bytes down. I was working with the Background Motor reporting feature and ran into an issue with the Following Error. For clarification I created a following error that is exactly the same as the master position so i could compare the bytes in the DPR viewer and i'm not sure why they show FF? I attached a picture to show what i'm seeing. The MSbyte @ offset 0x0074 is FF when it should be 0C? The reporting works fine on th…

Greetings. Turbo PMAC clipper. I have a trouble with M163 (motor number is one) variable when controller processes the cnc program. When controller processes positive (more than 0) move command it works fine. But when controller processes negative move command it doesn't work at all! For example. I load this program: T1 F3200 G0 X40000 (target position is 40,000) X0 (target position is 0) X-40000 (target position is 0 ...) X0 (target position is 0). Why is the target position displayed incorrectly?

We have two GeoBrick LVs where we are using one channel on each for step/direction output. On each of these, when I command an output on the channel configured for step/direction, I get amplifier faults on some other channels of the controller that are using the GeoBrick amplifiers. Example: - Channel 6 is configured for step/direction - #6o10 - Channel 6 moves as expected - Amp fault status immediately reports 6C error code - #6k - Amp fault now also reports 1C and 8C error codes, in addition to 6C - Motors on channels 1 and 8 cannot be moved. PeWinPro reports Amplifier Fault. - Clear amplifier faults (enabling startup PLC) - Motors on channels 1 and 8 …

I connected a Renishaw 26-bit BiSS-C encoder to the PMAC and I'm monitoring the two encoder signals with a oscope. In PEWIN the Cts Per Unit is set to 1, and the position shows 107500. On the oscope it shows 631787 (26-bit position only, status and CRC bits removed). The waveform format is exactly as defined in the BiSS-C protocol, and CRC is correct, so I assume there's no error/noise causing measuring problem. Then how could the two readings be so different? Is the position window in PEWIN showing the raw read back value from the encoder?

I want to use ACC-72E to expand the IO substation, take the SIEMENS ET200Pro as remote DP salve station, but there are some issues in configuration process. 1)it is mentioned that the PROFIBUS master is defined in HIL 7506.GSD in manual , but I can't find it in the hilscher website. so I drag the COMX-100xx-DP/DPM master station in Sycon software, I'm not sure it is correct or not? 2) have imported the SIEMENS ET200pro GSD file to Sycon succeed, but when I click the insert button to add Input/output module, it is failed. can you tell me what's wrong in settings?

Dear All I'm trying to power up the ModBus TCP/IP communication between Geobrick (Client) and RS232 to Modbus TCP/IP translator (Server). But there is no way to have the communication OK because the server can't answer ModBus request with ID 0 that send the Geobrick. Is there a way to change the ID number in the ModBus commande i67 + offset registers from 0 to 1 for example? For memories the ModBus request are looking like: ID + FC + Addr register + Length registers. Today the Geobrick send 00 04 0014 0014 and the server would like to receive 01 04 0014 0014 ( ID 1, ModBus fonction 4, Start register address 20, and 20 registers read. I was not able to find…

hello, I have a code that works fine in a rack with, Turbo Pmac2, ACC-84E for BISS reading, and ACC24E2S to control stepper motors. Since I'm only using 6 axis, I was thinking about buying a Geo Brick with 8 axis instead of buying the 32-axis TurboPmac 2. Do you think there is going to be any problem with running the code I have for my last aplication? Thanks
