  1. I currently have a 48V brushless motor connected and I'm supplying 1-phase 220V. The amplifier accepts inputs of 240V 3-phase, 110-240 1-phase, or 48V DC. When I select the amplifier, it requests the input voltage in "VDC". #1: Do I actually have to calculate VDC from VAC? The manuals were unclear about this. I used VDC= VAC*.636 = 220*.636 =139.92VDC or ~140V as seen below. #2: Is my understanding of this amplifier correct...am I outputting 48V DC to my motor as long as I set PwmSf correctly? Motor1.PwmSf = 0.95 * 16384 * 48V / 140V = 5336.5
  2. Oh, I incorrectly assumed some example Omron motors would have been included during installation. The list of amplifiers included several Delta Tau and Omron models by default so I just assumed the motors/encoders were empty by error. Thank you for clearing that up for me.
  3. 4.6.0.14 May 2022 from https://automation.omron.com/en/us/products/family/PMAC IDE gave me a issue where the PMAC HELP file was empty and I could not get it to manually install. 4.6.1.12 Jan 5, 2023 from https://www.ia.omron.com/product/tool/pmac-software/index.htm fixed the help file issues and installed properly...but the databases lists of motors and encoders appear to be empty...no motors/encoders are populated by default and user must build their own library one by one. The default library of amplifiers is populated by Delta Tau and Omron devices...but the motor and encoder lists remain empty irrespective of amplifier selection. Can we get a single download that installs the HELP and product lists? Is there a way to install a default library of motors and encoders?
