Dear Sina we are using a lot of turbo pmac ultralite and now old baldor macro drive are obsolete. so we have to retrofit our machine. since we want to keep working with PMAC, we need your support. can we convert turbo pmac ultralite into analog by attaching any accessory card to it. please confirm regards rajkumar attri

Dear Sir in my old cnc's i am using baldor macro drives and i want to replace those drives with GEO GMH152/051 drives, so please post any write up, for geo macro setup with turbo pmac 2 through pewin32 pro. as currently i am in doubt what pwn frequencies i have to set as shown in manual. when i make setup through "geo macro drive manual", i am getting fictious noise in velocity whether motor is in open loop. so please help. regards rajkumar attri

dear sina currently i am using turo pmac 1 in velocity mode with mitsubishi mr-j3 a drive. but size variation due to noise in dac and encoder out is forcing me to shift to another option. as power pmac etherlite ( ethercat) is available with you and mitsubishi is having their drive on ethercat, so i can work on them. please suggest and provide help if in india somebody is working on it. regards rajkumar attri

[/b][/size]Dear Sir I am using TURBO PMAC PCI Lite with analog DAC signals. i want to isolate analog circut isolation/input flag supply/AENA supply control. Currently i am taking all supplies from pc bus. i want to isolate 1) INPUT FLAG SUPPLY CONTROL:-If E90 connects pins 1 and 2 and E89 is OFF, the input flags are supplied from a separate A+V supply through pin 9 of the J9 JEQU connector. IS IT OK??? 2) AENA/EQU Supply Control :If E100 connects pins 2 and 3, the circuits will be supplied from a separate A+V supply brought in on pin 9 of the J9 JEQU connector. IS IT OK??? 3) Analog Circuit Isolation Control E85, E87, E88 are off and The positive supply (+12 to +15V) should be brought in on the A+15V line on pin 59. The negative supply (-12 to -15V) should be brought in on the A-15V line on pin 60. The analog common should be brought in on the AGND line on pin 58. please confirm whether it is ok as in diagram on page 5 in manual it is showing J7 connector and J9 is connected ie connection under j9 is showing crossing only.please check and confirm. regards rajkumar attri rajkumar.attri@aisglass.com

Hi Sina well problem has been reducesd also i have checked M118, M218,M318 & M418. All are 0 even when i am checking. Any other possibiltity that can cause this deviation. Still i am facing in 4 to 5 % rejection also i checked gantry system mechanically. That is pefectly fine with 0.02 mm backlash. Also i am looking that my work piece is reduced by 1to 1.5 in size. if u can confirm i will send my backup of pmac. regards rajkumar attri

dear I have reduced cable length to 600 mm. now M118 & M218 are 0. I am not findin problem so frequent, it has been reduced drastically but still in 8 hours 1 or pieces of odd size come in picture. please suggest me what more we can do. Hi sina I have checked M118, M218, M318 and M418, Only M118 and M218 are 1 and if i put M118=0, again it sets it to M118=1 Also M318 and M418 are 0. so please suggest me what to do as 60 pin shielded cable will not be possible for me. whether i should reduce distance beween pmac and acc-8dp. please provide suggestions. regards rajkumar attri

Hi sina I am using 60 pin flat ribbon cable and length of this is 1 metre and also it is not shielded. Regarding M118, I will check it today. Regards Rajkumar Attri

dear sir i am using turbo pmac-1 with 4 analog servo drives in cutting machine(mitsubishi mr-j2s-a drives) motor1-x1 motor2-x2 motor3-y motor4-c rotary axis x1 and x2 are gantry motors i am using acc-8dp for encoder wires input and analog output. what i am facing that in 1000 cycles it shows 20-30 pieces either small or big in x moving direction by +/- 1mm. i have used shielded twisted wires for encoder out from drive to acc-8dp. also used shielded twisted wires for anlog out from acc-8dp to drives. can anybody suggest what to do? also i have checked PE, i found it ok, if anybody want backup of pmac and drives i can provide it. regards rajkumar attri
