The second error was solved by changing the amplifier. The first error is still happening. It has happened on every set of cards we have check so far. Can I just send you the PO? We have checked 4 out of 9 systems. The rest will be installed in August.

We are having problems getting a power PMAC system up and running. This is not the first system. The hardware attached to the Power PMAC is the same as other systems we have running. This is an upgrade from a Turbo system. There are 2 24E2A cards, 1 11E card, and 1 28E card. All cards were purchased with the Power PMAC CPU. Back plane is being reused from the Turbo system. I am getting 2 different errors. We have tried 2 sets of cards with the same errors. First error is that a $$$ sometimes results in a change to the servo and phase frequency and the loss of the PLCs. A second or third $$$ will restore everything. A full power cycle does not have the same problem. The second error is on one of our motors. We have 4 motors, 2 motors are in a gantry setup. One of the non-gantry motors is having problems on closed loop. We have verified encoder direction and distance and are using the same settings as other working systems we have. Open loop works correctly. We switched back to turbo with the same ACC cards and have no problem with the motor.

I am occasionally getting a FeFatal error on one of the motors while running a motion program and am not able to clear it without a restart of the Power PMAC.

I am trying to get a system up and running with code that has already been tested. I tried to install the IDE but had problems with it locking up during install so we downloaded the newest IDE and install that. During building it would lock up. We gave it 12 hours and it did not finish building. I then upgraded my computer to the newest IDE and was able to compile it but I got errors when I tried to download it to the Power PMAC. I was not able to work around the errors so I uninstalled the IDE and installed the old one that I know works. Well now it does not work. When I try to build it I get the following error Error 1 The "CompileTask" task was not given a value for the required parameter "CustomCompileFlags". C:\testCode\testCode.ppproj 200 6 testCode(No Device) It looks like it is trying to use the newer compiler not the one with the IDE. Is there a way to fix this?
