  1. I want to use ACC-72EX in power UMAC system to control 16 stepper motors with CanOpen drives. Can I make it true if I select CanOpen Master Option?
  2. I tried loading a large NC file nearly 900Mb into PMAC NC pro2. But there's a "space not enough" error in a pop up window came out. Does the software support loading this large NC file or not ?
  3. I got it . Thank you very much.
  4. Unit101, Yes,you are right. The last line must be sent in immediate mode. I followed your guide and the problem disappeared. Thank you.
  5. The motion program may stop at the last few lines but not a static line number. I tried 3 Clipper boards and there's a relatively new one. All of them got the same result. I tried 10 different NC files and the problem is still there. Every thing is ok except the lower communictaion speed if I use internal rotary buffer. Power NC software with rotary mode has the uncomplete sending problem also. I think it's the business of binary rotary buffer . Is there any paticular setting of it? I set the headers as follow: DPRBINROT Initial: M71->X:$60414,24 ; (X:$60414) CS enable M72->Y:$60415,24 ; (Y:$60415) host binary rotary index M73->X:$60415,24 ; (X:$60415) pmac binary rotary index M74->Y:$60416,24 ; (Y:$60416) Size of binary rotary buffer M75->X:$60416,24 ;(x:$60416) starting binary address offset M71=1 M72=0 M73=0 M74=1024 M75=0 &1 define rot 1024
  6. I met a problem when using DPRAM binary rotary buffer on clipper. It seems that the DPR binary rotary buffer didn't copy all of the NC codes to internal rotary buffer. The machine didn't stop at the last program line. I checked the internal buffer with "list rot" command and found the last few program lines wasn't there. The machine didn't stop at a static position even I downloaded the same NC file again. The same thing happened on POWER NC software when using turbo controller. I think there's something need be noticed with DPR binary rotary buffer. But what's that ?
  7. I have an mill machine application using Turbo Clipper with DPRAM option. The NC file is very large and NC codes need bo be downloaded into Clipper as fast as possible because the efficiency need. The codes are executed nearly 4000 lines per second as need. The traditional way such as download codes to rotary buffer is not fast enough. How can I do to reach the requirement ?
  8. Is there any return value of the GetResponseEx function in pcommserver? Not the return value of the parameters in this function. There's a wrong value returned from the function when I check the value of some M varialbes of Turbo clipper sometimes when using getresponseEx. I want to know if there's error when it executes and what type it is. Is there any detail description of it ?
  9. I changed the password of root , but the new password get lost when reboot the PPMAC. How to save the new password? Since I have no idea about Linux, a few other questions need answer. How to install LINUX program through POWER IDE? Will it be saved in flash?
  10. Sina, Have you updated the software of Turbo PMAC2 express for A5N series?
  11. UMAC MASTER + Macro station with 16X MACRO CPU. There are 3 ACC24E2A cards and 3 ACC57EY cards on Macro station. The same as the Master . Information about Macro station. 3*ACC-24E2A with OPT1A, base address : UMAC MASTER + Macro station with 16X MACRO CPU. There are 3 ACC24E2A cards and 3 ACC57EY cards on Macro station. The same as the Master . Information about Macro station. 3*ACC-24E2A with OPT1A, base address : S1-1 S1-3 S1-4 Board No. ON ON ON 1 OFF ON ON 2 ON OFF ON 3 3*ACC-57EY (Yaskawa absolute encoder) $A800,$B800,$8840 The 3rd ACC-57EY on Macro station can’t work well . A week ago, channel 1 and 2 can get the absolute position when power on but channel 3 and 4 can not . Now, none of them can work well. The hardware is well because I had exchanged the 2nd with 3rd card. The configuration of the Macro is in attachment. Is there anything wrong ? MACRO configuration.txt
  12. I want to built a 6-axis parallel robot with fast response. I hope I can send position command from computer at the speed of 1 command /ms. I chose the turbo PMAC2 PCI. Is that ok or do I need a DPRAM option ? If I choose the CLIPPER board. Is its communication speed ok?
  13. PMAC2 PCI card I want to send 1 position command per millisecond from computer through PCI port. Can this be real ?
  14. Are there any drivers for PPmac under linux or Vxworks? If there's driver for Epics, that's best.
