Andy
I have two HS-360X wireless scanners (P/N: HDS-3678-1001) with a cradle (P/N: 12-9000937-01) that are not being detected by the Microscan Weblink software. I have tried various troubleshooting steps, including resetting the scanners and switching between SNAPI and USB Serial modes, but without success. One of the scanners has stopped scanning altogether, with the laser not turning on. When I hold the trigger button, the top LED briefly turns red, and placing it on the cradle causes the SNAPI driver to unload, switching the connection to USB Serial Device (COM7). I am unable to establish a connection via Microscan Weblink in both SNAPI and USB Serial modes. I would like to attempt a firmware update, but the scanner is not connecting to my PC. Could someone please provide instructions on how to reinstall the firmware on the HS-360X scanners, especially in cases where the scanner is not recognized by the PC? I am guessing when holding the trigger and placing the scanner on the cradle puts it into bootloader mode, but there is no documentation on how it can be used. Thank you, Andy
