Delta Tau insider 1993-98, contributed some useful concepts. Still using PMACs from then, always in "Minimal-Mode". Also have a Turbo UMAC, and might consider a Power UMAC, for future.
I build a few Very Simple Boards (like "Trailng-Edge"). For example: A $40 Lantronix Xport, and a $35 Rpi to run a Mill (minus the glory). Whatever it takes to keep using PMAC.
Seems a simple User-Built analog-amp is Really-Needed. Control-board-only, PMAC-current-mode-only, separate power-devices (tougher & repairable). No commercial Amp-Mfr could do this, but some Humans-CAN. Thinking of the Simplest-Single-Purpose way to do it.
