[Camera Microscan VISION MINI Xi can not create edit jobs with Autovision v3.x or v4.x or v5.x]

You should be able to connect Vision MINI Xi to AutoVISION 3 (Windows 7 compatible), which is the latest version that supports it.
AutoVISION 4 and above does not support Vision MINI / Vision HAWK (any models).
Attached you can see information about AutoVISION versions available (including cameras compatibility) and a Technical Note pointig how to install AutoVISION 3 on Windows 10 (valid for Windows 11).

No, Vision HAWK (GMV-6800) and Vision MINI (GMV-6300) don't support the current AutoVISION versions. 
They need AutoVISION 3.0...

Yes, you can update your AutoVISION Sensor model to use OCR/OCV features. For that, you will need following licenses:

* LIC-0700-003 - License, Machine Vision, AutoVISION

* LIC-0700-009 - License, Machine Vision, Verification/OCV
