I'm developing an application in C# where I look for information about a gauge that measures length and concavity, the memory in the clp used itself is of the REAL type, when I read this same memory from the clp in the program, it returns a different value. the memory read is a D2440 type REAL, it occupies two memories A D2440 and D2441 where the value would be 76.04, but it returns a very different value I tried using conversion and without success, could anyone give me some light? Before start the installation, enable the option “Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows 7” in the AutoVISION Software installation file (SetupAutoVISION.exe); 2. Proceed with the AutoVISION Software installation. 3. Enable the same option in the AutoVISION Software execution file – AutoVISION.exe (installed in the folder C:\Microscan\AutoVision – default path). 4. Dears, I have a camera Microscan VISION MINI Xi model GMV-6310-1112G that work perfect with Autovision V2.x.x, (with red logo) and if I install Autovision V3 (blue logo) and above won.t work. I can not create jobs. Can you help me with a link in a cloud the software Autovision V2.x.x or what can be the problem ? P.S. Are the current versions of AutoVISION compatible with the old GMV-6800 cameras? That is, could I update the firmware of a Vision Hawk to connect with an Autovision 5.2? Or should I use an older version of AutoVISION?

I have an OCR Trainable Font tool that does not show the "Adaptive Thresholding" option as it does on other OCR tools of the same type. I found this option is not made visible after selecting "Enhanced Process Mode" and then un-selecting "Enhanced Process Mode". The other tools such as "Allow Overlapped Characters", etc. do re-appear as expected. I attached screenshots showing the problem. Please advise how I can re-access the "Adaptive Thresholding" option. Hello, I have a "F430-F000M12M-SWS" camera, which comes with AutoVision Sensor license. Will I be able to use the OCR/OCV features if I purchase the LIC-0700-003 (AutoVISION) license? or is that available only for the F430-FXX-XXA model?

The problem could be that the Visionscape I-PAK HE software cannot communicate to the camera. 1. Shut down I-PAK user interface. 2. Cycle power for each camera by removing the cable from the X1 connector. (9 o'clock position if the camera is oriented so that the small connector is the 12 o'clock posiion.) 3. Wait 1 minute. 4. Restart PC with I-PAK. When I-PAK starts it might ask user to select a camera. 5. Once started, click the setup button and use change product to select the desired job.

Hi all. I have a machine with 73 nodes (servos , manifolds, sensors ...) , and two of them are FH2050-20 vision controller with 6 cameras in each one ( 6 lines). My problem at the moment is when I have the Ethercat healthy and the Monitor windows switching are extremely slow , so slow that I cant ever navigate through the setting etc.. I don't have any errors in the plc or in the vision controllers. I have used this controllers before but were just one controller with 3 cameras. Do you have any idea why this is so slow when connected to the EtherCat ? Thanks for the help

A custom camera device is a script, that anyone can add by New menu option into the Explorer tree in ACE. There is a hint to import an image file. Our goal was to acquire images from cheaper camera devices, that are capable to work 24/7. Surveillance Cameras are a solution for this condition. Most of them can transfer images to an FTP Server. And the Custom Device in ACE can read those image files. Because of the huge amount of file transfers the storage capacity ends after some month. Maybe the hardware can be damaged too by many writing jobs. You can get around this by using a software ramdisk program and a routine to delete older files instantly. I attach our script…

We were told that a new camera won’t work with an outdated and no more supported system. We get a new camera working. First our new camera works as a custom device. We put a C Sharp (C#) pylon dll library by copy into \bin directory of ace program directory. This library comes from a Pylon Viewer Suite 6 out of Development directory. We added a Custom Device from Vision into Explorer tree. It is a C# script calling GrabImage method within. Hi, I'm used to develop .net framework applications making use of VisionScape.dll and so on, now I want to switch to .net core, is it possible in someway? I have tried with .net core 3.1 console application and .net 6 console application without luck, keep getting 'Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {05E7251A-44E3-4165-A892-F65F37C1C199} failed due to the following error: 80040154 Class not registered (0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)).' when trying to instantiate the VsCoordinator. hello everybody I am trying to connect a F430 vision with an old SLC 500 with rslogix v17 (does not accept importing EDS file). I made it with generic ethernet module like said in the manual with same parameters of assembly. data type Data SINT input 102 size 320 bit / output 114 size 320 bit / configuration 1 size 0 but the connection is not established can anyone know how to do it thanks.

When compiling Custom Visionscape .NET Programs, it is required to add the top line to your Post Build event to allow the program to use more memory than normal 32 bit programs do. Typically 32 bit programs are limited to 2GB. This allows programs to go well past that. Required for image size, stack size, etc.

Visionscape I-Pak uses job files that are loaded onto the Visionscape boards when I-Pak is put into run mode. When the new software is installed, the previous job was likely not copied to the new I-Pak\Jobs directory so I-Pak created a default 1 camera job. To resolve this: a) build a new job and add the missing cameras b)save a previous back-up into the I-Pak\jobs directory.

The MicroHAWK requires a minimum of 4.7 volts DC to function. When a PC goes into sleep/low power mode, the USB ports essentially turn off or run at a lower than 4 volt range. When this happens there is not enough voltage/power for the ID-30 to function so there will be no communication/functionality from the unit. Possible Cause 1 - PC antivirus/firewall software blocking the camera's UDP broadcast: The sole mechanism used by AutoVISION/Visionscape (a.k.a. AV/VS) to discover OMRON Microscan Smart Cameras is by detecting the UDP message broadcast every ~5-10 seconds. Many PC antivirus/firewall software can mistakenly block this broadcast as a potential threat. Fix: Check your security software logs for blocked UDP broadcasts from the camera or software. If they are being blocked, disable the software to confirm this is the issue, then have your IT dept. "whitelist" the item (likely avpsvr.exe) so that it is no longer blocked in the future. What size OCR character is valid for Quadrus MINI decoding? The font size on the surface to be read is not as important as the size of the imaged OCR character in memory. OCR will work with imaged characters ranging in height from 10 to 50 pixels, with 20 pixels being the optimal size based on read rate, accuracy and performance.
