Before executing the attached WSF File (Windows Script File), you must: - Certify that Telnet Client is enabled on Windows. If you are unsure about this, please check the article "Enabling Telnet Client on Windows". Once you have verified that Windows Telnet Client is activated, double-click on the attached .wsf file. This will open the dialog box shown below: Next, just enter the MicroHAWK IP Address and it will automatically enter the default username and password to access the unit (ID or MV) over Windows Telnet Client, as shown in the screenshot below: Operating System Windows 7 kA23800000007p6CAA_en_US_1.wsf

There may not be a sufficient heat sink for the camera. Per the Visionscape GigE Camera Guide it states on page 2-5, “The mounting block of the Visionscape GigE Camera is part of the heat dissipation system, and metal-to-metal contact is required for effective cooling.” The CMG50 produces the most heat of any GigE camera that Microscan offers and a heat sink is required to keep the temperature in the acceptable range. If the camera is mounted improperly, the heat dissipation may not be sufficient. To resolve this, mount the camera properly with metal-to-metal contact.

Purpose: Transfer the layout of a custom dashboard in Cloudlink from one MicroHAWK MV or F4XX-F smart vision camera to another camera. Explanation: Once a user has configured Cloudlink to function exactly as they desire, they may want to replicate that exact same Dashboard layout on multiple other cameras. This procedure provides a method to consistently accomplish this task without having to replicate the layout from memory and risk missing a step. Procedure: 1. First, connect the vision camera directly to your PC. 2. Next, open an FTP client such as FileZilla (which was used for this example) and establish a connection to the camera. In the case of Fil…

ID-40 External Sensor Triggering You first need to have Input Common connected to either the 24V+ pin or Ground pin on the ID-40. Once that is done the Trigger pin will need to receive the opposite signal of whatever is connected to Input Common. So if Input Common is connected to the 24V+ pin on the ID-40, the Trigger pin would need to be pulled to Ground, and vice versa. MV-40 External Sensor Triggering To trigger the MV-40, first make sure that the active vision job file loaded on the camera has the trigger set to "Sensor" so that it is actually expecting a hardware trigger signal on that trigger pin. Then when it comes to wiring, you first need to have Inp…

When using the HAWK MV-4000 Machine Vision Smart Camera, it is recommended to use AutoVISION/Frontrunner software and firmware version 5.2.0/9.2.0 or newer. It is specifically recommended to avoid using version 5.1.0.3027/9.1.0.3027 as there is a known issue where the number of network “hops” is set to a very low number. The exact number of hops is not readily apparent. If the MV-4000 and laptop are on the same subnet on the same network switch, they would not see the issue, but if the MV-4000 has to go through multiple routers/switches then this problem could occur.

The AVP is the job file. It does not contain any of the accessory files that may be shared between job files such as images, IntelliFind contour files, Perl script files, font library files and color library files. And the need to have a single all-inclusive file that contains the job AND all of the accessory files is why the AVZ was created. The AVZ (which is in standard ZIP format) is a zipped file that contains the AVP job file, the camera definition file and all of the accessory files that are being used by the job. This includes all of those accessory files I mention above. So, in order to help customers troubleshoot issues, one requests the AVZ…
