Omron Forums Support
There may not be a sufficient heat sink for the camera. Per the Visionscape GigE Camera Guide it states on page 2-5, “The mounting block of the Visionscape GigE Camera is part of the heat dissipation system, and metal-to-metal contact is required for effective cooling.” The CMG50 produces the most heat of any GigE camera that Microscan offers and a heat sink is required to keep the temperature in the acceptable range. If the camera is mounted improperly, the heat dissipation may not be sufficient. To resolve this, mount the camera properly with metal-to-metal contact.
