Omron Forums Support Posted March 8, 2022 Share Posted March 8, 2022 Purpose This document describes how to setup ID-40 reader or MV-40 smart camera to upload FTP images automatically during run time. The document provides a step by step guide on the setup procedure, including testing the final results with a local server. Also included in this document are chapters about configurations and usage of Filezilla FTP client and server applications, as well as Windows Firewall settings to avoid the FTP communication from being blocked on the PC. Eventually, a set of real tests are described using MV / ID devices with different sensor sizes, in order to provide some basic info about the expected cycle times when sending FTP images feature is enabled.
