  1. Backplane HW: ACC-E1 Power Supply 3x0-603766 Turbo PMAC2 CPU ACC-24E2 4 axis Interface External HW: Geo Drive Direct PWM MCG Motor PN 3483-ME3921 4 A Continuous Current 8 poles 1.6 ohms pase to phase 36 V nominal Drive thermals are disabled via jumpers Encoder from moter is utilizing A, B & C and U, V & W. Have that connector wired to 12 Pin to ACC-24E2 Manual says I can use 110 VAC input to Geo Drive which I have. Motor has worked on several Geo drives and I have 3 of them and all have same problem. Followed manuals cover to cover. This setup should work but I'm getting Fault code 2 on the single axis I'm testing which is Over Current. Question's : Can I get PN and quote for 36 pin mating connector from ACC-24E2 to the Geo Drive Direct PWM ? Can I get PN and quote for 15-Pin Female D-Shell to 12 Pin Phoenix Connector for the encoder which would include the Hall effect wiring as well ? I have followed all drawings in the manuals and, yet again, failure mode !!
  2. I have the manual and the software. It locks on the Voltage test. I've read your manuals cover to cover on every question I ask.
  3. Can you provide a link to this ?
  4. To be more clear, the motor details step 1 go fine, Step 2 defining the encoder counts goes fine, step 3 which is the voltage test says 100% complete, the motor does 6-7 moves, but I cannot continue like I could in Geo Brick setup. I cannot step forward to the phasing step for completion.
  5. Motor set up goes fine, step two goes fine, enter the voltage test and it say's 100% complete but cannot continue or implement gains and then test times out. All 8 axes respond the same. Any help ?
  6. "It is true there is no setup for an ACC-5E. MACRO setup would need to be done manually." Which manual did you provide a link to for this procedure ?
  7. So for my satisfaction, I want to install PMAC Executive Pro Suite and cannot because the installation aborts due to "Setup cannot proceed unless launched from the main script. Installation will abort ! ". All that means is I don't have a license key for this version of software. ( Read the setup.inx file in Hex and it's very plain to see ). I have Pewin32PRO2 and don't want to trick anything or fight "trying" to fake my system. Can I get a license key for the Pewin32PRO, not Pewin32PRO2 ?
  8. When using Pewin32 Pro2 and the tool "Turbo/UMAC Setup Pro2", the ACC-24E2 and ACC-5E are not available in the frop downs and you acnnot enter them manually so the tool cannot continue. Often times it will refer to setting dip switches on SW2 which doesn't exist. Just trying to follow the 422 page manual that advises strongly to use the setup tool and yet we cannot with this legacy hardware. I have all of the manuals you have listed. Why don't you just PM me a V1 key so I prove to myself that I will have to find another route to get this system figured out ?
  9. Want to install PWin32 Pro ( not 2 ) as my setup is legacy hardware not recognized when using Pewin32 Pro 2. When I try to install, Win XP or Win 7 both have same errror "Setup cannot proceed unless launched from the main script. Installation will abort ! " System I am trying to auto configure is Turbo PMAC2 CPU - 3x0-603766, ACC-24E2 in slot and Macro & IC Interface ACC-5E none of which appear in PWin32 Pro 2 as options. Advice Anyone ??
  10. You say that but the manuals I've been given by the Omron folks are innacurate in many instances. Why do you think I am posting ?? Not trying to be an ass but the sample code's have many syntax error's and in my case, try to phase w/o checking for bus power among other issue's.
  11. Manual dictates that I must phase motors on power-up before they are able to run. PLC1 ( runs once at power up ) example in manual does not check to see that there is ~120-240 VAC applied so phasing can actually perform. PLC1 runs when 24 VDC is applied but must wait ~3 sec before applying 120-240 vac to powr bus. It appears that PLC1 program runs but fails to phase due to lack of bus power. If I run it again, manually, after bus is up, it works fine. Something not right here !
  12. Looking for what should be a Global Tag for Bus Status. Geo Brick drive running Pewin32 Pro 2 software
