power pmac ide Connection issue with CK3M

I just downloaded the power PMAC IDE in my computer (Win 10, AMD 5000 7th) and tried to connect with the CK3M controller avaible at my lab but the ping fails every time. Using CMD, it also fails both the ping and telnet test. 

I know the device is working as it was previously connected to a different laptop.

Otherwise, please contact your local Omron Technical Center for any technical support as they should be your primary choice.  They can “escalate” any issues back to the US domestic group if needed. Also, note that this is regarding a Power PMAC, so should it should have been posted in the Power, not Turbo section.

Greg is correct, this should be through your local Omron technical support center, and this should be in the Power PMAC Forum.

Having said that the ping response you get would indicate you need elevation of administrator privileges. Try “Run as Administrator” on CMD. Note that all current Power PMAC’s have “Telnet” disabled as it is not considered “secure” communication.
