Raghav
Dear All, We would like to use the CNC auto-pilot program for our machine. We already have a custom software (HMI) to run machine. We are aware that the auto-pilot generated files can be used directly with Adv-900, but we would like to try out the Auto-pilot program and use the generated files along with our software. We used the Auto-pilot program and generated a set of header (.H), PLC and other I,M variable files. But while analyzing the files generated, we find that the variables generated by auto pilot and the variables mentioned for Turbo PMAC2 doesn't match. The generated IO header is attached for the reference. Based on the Software reference manual, we use the M variables M7000, 7001 for the IO as we use ACC-11E 24In/24Out IO card but the the generated files assign M800, 801 etc. Kindly advice on whether to use the auto-pilot file with our custom software or use our proven software if Auto-pilot is meant to be used only with Adv-900. Also suggest us with any manual and standard procedure to integrate these file to our software. Thanks in advance. Looking forward for a response as we are running short of time for the change-over. Omron Forums Support
The AutoPilot program is designed to be used with PMAC-NC Pro2 applications only. The header file information is not compatible with general PMAC applications as described in the Turbo PMAC Software reference manual (suggested m-variables). If you have developed a custom application stay with the general suggested m-variables. You can use the PLC and Program logic as example code, but do not reference the header files (you can always manually transfer the definitions for you own use).
