DaveBarnett
With regard to the new IDE version 2.2.0.x, which incorporates the Acontis EtherCAT library, can it safely be used to edit/update projects which have been created with a previous version of the IDE ? (referring to projects which don’t use EtherCAT, of course) And, can these same projects then be subsequently edited using an older IDE version? Are there any other considerations when migrating projects and firmware revisions? Thanks!
steve.milici
The project structure has not changed since before version 1.4.x.x so projects created in older versions can be used in the latest. Projects created in the latest version will also be compatible in older versions. Note that firmware specific issues may exist. A saved configuration from one firmware may not be entirely compatible with a different version of firmware.
