sdefisher
When I cycle power on my Power PMAC the sys.compenable variable resets to zero. I have used the save command several times. Is this the expected behavior?
steve.milici
Yes this is expected behavior. Because there is no reference position for the motor yet, compensation tables should not be active at power-on/reset. The manual incorrectly has this listed in the "Power PMAC Saved Data Structure Elements". It should be in the "Power PMAC Non-Saved Setup Data Structure Elements". This will be corrected in the next release of the manual.
Richard Naddaf
Compensation Table(s) should not be turned on unless all motor(s) involved are homed otherwise the table data has no reference.
