cryovolcano
Dears, How many cards can I use in Power UMAC with one ACC-E1? I have 1 Power UMAC 465 CPU, 4 ACC24E3, 2 ACC84E, 1 ACC72EX, 2ACC65E. It seems that ACC-E1 can not support so many cards. Any body can give me some useful suggestion. Thanks!
steve.milici
The ACC-E1 has the following specifications: +5V @ 14A +15V @ 1.5A -15V @ 1.5A It could be possible with that “load” of cards the ACC-E1 is compromised but the total of the cards listed are well within the specification above: Power UMAC 465 CPU @3.0A 4 x ACC24E3 @1.5A = 6.0A 2 x ACC84E @0.36A = 0.72A 1 x ACC72EX @1.0A = 1.0A 2 x ACC65E @0.38A = 0.76A What issues are you seeing? Note that the UMAC backplane has separate terminals for an external PS.
