Omron Forums Support Posted March 8, 2022 Share Posted March 8, 2022 Purpose: To outline the steps to unlock an Operator account on an LVS-95XX Series Barcode Verification system.Explanation: After three unsuccessful login attempts, due to either the Operator ID or Password being entered incorrectly, the LVS-95XX Series software will lock out the account from further login attempts until the account has been unlocked using the following procedure. This procedure requires that you log in with the Password Of The Day (POTD), so contact Microscan prior to this procedure to obtain those credentials.Procedure: 1. With the verifier connected to the PC, start the LVS software and login using the POTD. 2. Open the “Setup” tab, then click on the “Setup operators” button. 3. Select the desired account from the list on the left, then click “Change this operator”. 4. All the data fields should now be active. To unlock the account, simply uncheck and recheck any of the currently checked “Permissions” boxes, then click “Save changes”. 5. Finally, select the “Welcome” tab, click “Log off”, then attempt to re-login to the software with the previously locked out account. The account should now behave as normal.
