Cannot downgrade the VS-1 firmware to be used with I-Pak HE

In order to downgrade a VS-1, you need to do this using HawkEye 1600(T) Firmware Update when Visionscape 4.1.1 (or latest version) was installed. If the VS-1 smart camera has firmware that is newer than the Visionscape version currently in use on the PC the VS-1 downgrade does not work. The instructions below assumes that you have the first version of Visionscape installed on the PC was Visionscape 3.7.2 and that Visionscape 4.1.1 (or latest version) was installed afterward. 1. Install (or Switch) to Visionscape 4.1.1. 2. Run Start menu > Programs > Microscan Visionscape >Tools >HawkEye 1600(T) Firmware Update and select the VS-1 to downgrade. 3. In the Firmware Version dropdown box, select the 3.7.2 firmware. 4. Click update Firmware. 5. When the Firmware update has been completed, close the HawkEye 1600(T) Firmware Update. 6. menu > Programs > Microscan Visionscape >Tools > Visionscape Version Manager to change version to 372_18.
