Differences between grading values when using LVS-7510 compared to LVS-95xx

Recommended Posts

LVS-7510 grades barcodes according to ISO 15415/15416.  The required aperture for ISO 15415/15416 is in some cases different than the required aperture when using the GS1 application standards.  LVS-95xx automatically adjusts the used aperture based on the GS1 table that is selected for the application standard.  LVS-7510 has a configuration setting that can be changed by an authorized supervisor to change the aperture from the default setting to an alternate value.   By changing the aperture to be consistent with that used for LVS-95xx the resulting grading values will be more closely aligned.  Note that the minimum allowable x-dimension for LVS-7510 is larger than for most LVS-95xx models, so for barcodes smaller than a 9 mil x-dimension, deviation can also occur
