Omron Forums Support Posted March 14, 2022 Posted March 14, 2022 Before performing any of these procedures, establish a Telnet connection with the MicroHAWK MV camera (see Knowledge Base article 000001390 for one method). To use the full Autofocus/Auto Calibration routine OUTSIDE OF RUNTIME: 1. Before performing this, you need to stop any running inspection (Auto Calibration cannot be used during runtime) using the following serial command: offline (This stops all inspections). 2. You can then perform the Automatic Calibration of Photometry using the following serial command: autocal (Performs automatic calibration of photometry settings: Gain, Exposure, and Focus). 3. Then, you need to restart the inspection again using the following serial command: online (This starts all inspections). To adjust individual photometry parameters DURING RUNTIME:If desired, you can change any parameter (Gain, Exposure, and Focus) separately, by incorporating Microscan Link: 1. First, link the parameters and close the padlocks: Linking the parameters 2. Next, via telnet (for example) you can change any parameters on-the-fly. In this case, you don’t need to stop the inspection: No changes: Changing Exposure Time (float101) Changing Focus (int101) Software Version 4.0 & later Firmware Version 4.0 & later Operating System Any Quote
