How to load MicroHawk EDS into a CompactLogix PLC

For the PLC to recognize the MicroHawk reader you should install the specially created EDS for MicroHawk

Follow the next steps:

  • Go to www.microscan.com
  • Go to the Support menu
  • select Download Center
  • Go to the central part of the page (Dowload Center)
  • Search 2D Barcode Readers
  • Go to MicroHawk barcode redears
  • One click on EDS (Wait for the download to finish)
  • Unzip the folder
  • See the Video for Insta
Follow the instructions in the attached video in this solution for the installation of EDS in Studio 5000 (2 Instalacion_EDS_MicroHawk.mp4)
