Omron Forums Support
In daisy chain mode, the primary will try to read a code until the read cycle ends. If at the end of the read cycle the Primary did not read all required codes, it will check it's AUX port for any information the secondary decoded. This is the reason why you will get the data of the primary as soon as it is available and the secondary data at read cycle end. If the problem is that you get the primary and secondary data at different points in time, you can set the primary to output data at the end of the read cycle. If the problem is that the secondary data is needed as soon as possible too, you could set the primary's Aux port mode to "transparent". In this mode, the primary will just forward messages received on the AUX port to the host port and it will no longer handle the triggering of the secondary, secondary no reads or double reading of codes. Therefore, changing to transparent mode requires a thorough evaluation of the application requirements again.
