Recover a locked up HS-2D or Mobile Hawk

To do a hard reset if the HS-2D or Mobiel Hawk that is completely locked up: 1. Unplug the reader from the PC. 2. While holding the trigger down, plug the reader into the USB port on the PC. You will hear 5 rapid beeps and then you can let go of the trigger. The unit is now in Boot Mode. 3. To reset the reader, simply hold the trigger down again for approximately 5 seconds until it reboots. The reader will vibrate first and then beep several times and is now reset.
