Scanning Direction of LVS-9570

The LVS-9570 operator manual describes the proper technique for verifying a barcode when using LVS-9570.  The unit should be pulled at a slow, steady rate toward the user in the direction toward the back of the unit (where the USB connector is located).  This is in the opposite direction of the arrow printed on the outside of the housing, which is used to indicate where the center of the scanning sensor is located.  If the LVS-9570 is pulled too quickly across the label, then an over-speed error will be displayed in the LVS-95XX software and no grade will be provided.  Barcodes of up to 305 mm (12") long can be scanned in a ladder orientation, with a maximum 137mm (5.4") maximum barcode height.
