snomonkee
We have a system with 2 coordinate systems running via kinematics, when we try to run a program using single block we get the error #46: COORD JOGGED OUT OF POS Could you explain what this error means? steve.milici
This error indicates “something” has moved a motor in the CS while stopped on the last executed single block line before the next move. Check that your kinematics does not move the motor while stopped in single block. How did you implement your single block; e.g, is it using PMAC’s “s” (single step) or some other mechanism? paddax
Yes it is using PMAC single step "S" command. It appears to happen in either coordinate system even though there is only a single axis in the second coordinate system.
steve.milici
What is your PMAC FW version? There was an older FW version (before 2.4.x.x) that would incorrectly give this error on a step move. Otherwise, check that your kinematics (or other code) does not move the motor while stopped in single block.
paddax
You are on the money 🙂, the firmware version was 2.3.xxx.
