softnado
Want use one existing Geo Brick GBL8-F3-557-0908C230 with PMAC-NC. Seems the DPRAM is required for that, wonder if I able to order some additional card to enable that option? (Or that is something only come with different main board) Thanks and regards, Daniel
steve.milici
This product is now obsolete. An RMA can only be administered for repair of existing options but not for adding new options.
softnado
Thank you for the information. Understand it is obsolete, try to see if it is possible because I try to make it work purely as hobby project.
steve.milici
The repair center has indicated this cannot be done for the reason previously stated.
softnado
@steve.milici Thank you for helping out. Do you know if there is document explains the internal of the Geo Bricks. Something like service manual? I understand this product is obsolete but it is powerful enough for hobby use. So I wonder if possible for check the service manual, and find the necessary parts online. When searching around, there are lots of used parts for them, just not sure which one is with the DPR option. For example there are 603793-109/110/111/112 which all have slight different configuration. But unlike the modules for UMAC, can't find any documents explains the difference between them. Understand this is not "Right" way of use and maintain the product. Since it is obsolete, the worse case is I open it up and poke around before give up and go with some cheap new alternative. Thanks and regards, Daniel Edited December 8, 2022 by softnado
steve.milici
There is no “Service Manual” with repair information, only the “User’s Manual” with programming and setup information.
