franz91
Hi there, How stop motor movement if rotor is bloqued by something? I have tried current limit registers and the fatal following error registers but they does not help for that I want. Best regards.
Sina.Sattari
Franz91, What do you have in mind? Usually either by setting the following error PMAC will detect hitting a hard limit and it will kill the motor. Also, you can setup the I2T protection parameters which will protect against heat generated in the stator of the motor, however this approach is slow to respond if your motor is not pushing against the hard limit but merely leaning against it. Your other solution, which requires a PLC, is to use the warning following error Ixx12 setting and monitor the warning following flag in motor status word.
