How do you compare getting additional I/Os through MACRO vs MODBUS? What are the cons and pros? Is there any other solution other than MACRO/MODBUS available? We need 48 IN/48 out. Sina.Sattari Posted November 9, 2012 Share Posted November 9, 2012 Hi Majid, On Geo Brick AC and Geo Brick LV, the maximum digital IO is 32IN/16OUT as you mentioned. The best way to expand the IO would be through either MACRO or Modbus. The MACRO IO can be faster and deterministic compared to Modbus IO, but it would cost more.
