Lucas Olvieira
Hi, I would like to know where I can find DeltaTau's MACRO protocol with descriptions and low level implementation?. I'm analysing the possibility to implement it in external hardware to communicate with others DetlTau's devices. Advices about MACRO protocol implementation are welcomed too. leandro.martins
@Lucas Olvieira Usually there is an example in the IDE installation directory. The path should be something like this C:\DeltaTau\PowerPMAC\4\IDE\ProjectExamples\PowerPmacMacroExample\PowerPmacMacroExample

The example available is about how to setup MACRO in PowePMAC. I would like to implement MACRO protocol inside of FPGA to alllow external devices to communicate in MACRO Ring with others PowerPmacs, sumarizing, I need low level details about protocol to develop a driver. leandro.martins
I've already seen a quite old documentation (something like "Motion and Control Ring Optical") that probably it is what you are looking for. I'm able to find it online in some suspicious data-sheet websites, but I think the best thing to do would be send an email to ODT-Support@Omron.com requesting it.
