    to resolve this issue, you can either upgrade the Power PMAC 465 CPU to a model that supports the FINS protocol, or you can use a different digital input/output module that is compatible with the Power PMAC 465 CPU.

    Here are some other possible solutions:

    • Check the wiring between the ACC65E and BADLINK.
    •  Make sure that the wiring is correct and that the connections are secure.
    • Try resetting the ACC65E and the Power PMAC 465 CPU. This may clear any errors that are preventing the ACC65E from being recognized.
    • Contact OMRON technical support for assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting tips or help you find a compatible digital input/output module.

    I hope this helps!

    Thank you for the information!

    I had a power clipper do something like this to me one time a few years back. I made notes at the time but can't seem to locate them.

    Long story short the filesystem was corrupted by a power surge/short. The unit was unstable and flaky. I could telnet but couldn't ssh and some other weird things like couldn't save configuration changes. I used the serial port to get to a shell and then if memory serves I had to remount the filesystem rw and then used fsck to fix the disk issue. After that I used the usb method to upgrade/replace the firmware so any damaged files would be over written and the system worked perfectly again.

    I'm not sure if this helps but just wanted to throw it out there.

    Thank you very much! I'll try this solution, hope the situation can be solved! Thanks again!

    Try re-initializing ($$$***).  The following copied from the Power PMAC Users manual:

    If the hardware configuration the CPU finds on power-up/reset is not the same as that in the last valid saved configuration, the Power PMAC will come up in an error condition, setting global status bit Sys.HWChangeErr to 1. In this case, the user must make the software system configuration match the new hardware configuration (usually by using the $$$*** re-initialization command), save this configuration, and reset the system before proceeding.

    Thank you Gregs, I have tried "$$$***", and the problem stays the same. Is there anything else I can do to fix this?

  4. Hello everyone, I need some help with the save operation. I'm using a Power PMAC 465 CPU with 4 ACC24E3s and an ACC65E on a 3U UMAC rack. The thing is, "HWChangeErr" and "PwrOnFault" pop up every time the system is powered on,  and all the configurations of motors cannot be saved.

    I have done a save and "$$$" as the following thread said, but the situation stays the same, while the following notices come up in the terminal when executing "save". Is there anything I can do to fix this? I've been stuck on this for several days, could you please give me a hand? Thanks a lot.

  5. Hello everyone, I need some help with ACC65E recognization. I'm using a Power PMAC 465 CPU with 4 ACC24E3s and an ACC65E on a 3U UMAC rack. The thing is, ACC 65E cannot be recognized in the IDE, while 4 ACC24E3 are successfully shown. I have switched different slots, but nothing happens.

    According to manual, I have set ALL SW1 switches to ON, and then finished the declaration of the pointer as the manual said.

    PTR Input1->ACC65E[0].DataReg[0].0.1;

    PTR Input2->ACC65E[0].DataReg[0].1.1;

    etc.

    and

    PTR Output1->ACC65E[0].DataReg[3].0.1;

    PTR Output2->ACC65E[0].DataReg[3].1.1;

    With this fonfiguration, I got "stdin:7:26: Struct Write Gate Part Number Error" when output was written to 1, and "input1=nan" when reading input1.

    Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thanks a lot!
