Hello everyone, I need some help with ACC65E recognization. I'm using a Power PMAC 465 CPU with 4 ACC24E3s and an ACC65E on a 3U UMAC rack. The thing is, ACC 65E cannot be recognized in the IDE, while 4 ACC24E3 are successfully shown. I have switched different slots, but nothing happens. According to manual, I have set ALL SW1 switches to ON, and then finished the declaration of the pointer as the manual said. PTR Input1->ACC65E[0].DataReg[0].0.1; PTR Input2->ACC65E[0].DataReg[0].1.1; etc. and PTR Output1->ACC65E[0].DataReg[3].0.1; PTR Output2->ACC65E[0].DataReg[3].1.1; With this fonfiguration, I got "stdin:7:26: Struct…

Hi All! Tell me please. I correctly understand the next question. if the axes are integrated into a coordinate system, they perform fully synchronized movements. That is, when the motion parameters of one axis change (external influence), the motion parameters of the other axes in the coordinate system will be adjusted so that the coordinate system moves as close as possible to the calculated trajectory ?? That is, an external impact on any axis will cause a correction of the movement of the other axes? Regards!

We have used PMAC macros in one of our projects, but we were using PEWIN32Pro to download the CFG to the card each time we made a change. Recently I converted a different project to use macros, but we have developed an application for automatically downloading these CFGs to the cards. Apparently the PCOMM32 driver does not have the capability to parse the macros when using the API download functionality. As I see it, my two options are: 1) Create a macro parser in my downloading application and handle parsing and translating the macros myself, or 2) Acquire the Delta Tau parser utility and distribute it with the installer Can someone point me to a link to the Delta Ta…

I'd like to measure the time between PowerPMAC received the commmand from the Host PC and Motion Program running starting. I think the Motion Progrram start timming could measure by using Program Running Bit, but I'm not sure about how to measure PowerPMAC receive command timing. If I could check the resister of the PowerPMAC Communication task running bit, Could you tell me how to check it?

Hi, Just started using the PPMAC and encountered some errors when running the forward/inverse kinematic subroutines. The forward routine seems to be working, but when I add the file inverse.kin in the project I encounter buffer related errors (closed, in use, etc). The same error shows up as early as the compiler finds open inverse (1). I want to know where exactly this error comes from in my project. Is it something I did not define in the forward kinematics routine? Below is my code for the forward kinematics routine. Am I setting KinAxisUsed correctly? My machine has 5 axes. Thanks! csglobal CtsperMm1; csglobal CtsperMm2; csglobal CtsperMm3; csgloba…

We just upgraded from a Turbo Umac 5C0 cpu card to a 5C3 card (memory upgrade only). I have updated all the memory locations for the modbus and all machine functions appear to be working correctly. Upon start-up of PEWin32Pro I get a warning that says the following: "Due to Modbus activity, CommThread will not be started at this time. Unsolicited messages will not be captured properly" This goes away if I put in the 5C0 card again. I am probably missing a setting that I don't know about.

Hello, I need help to setup a modbus Geobrick. The Geobrick (master) communicates with a safety PLC (slave) The Modbus protocol says to communicate, you must configure (on the master ) the IP address, the slave number and the register number + function code (3 for Read Holding Registers or 16 for Write Multiple Registers) At PEWIN32, I do not see how to configure the slave number and register number. Can someone explain me? I see, you need to configure the "Modbus reference #", but what data should I put (N° slave + starting adresss?? Unit identifier ?)? When I use a program like "Modbus Doctor", I can read the desired value (see screenshot below). tha…

When installing the PCOMM32 Library or executables that use it on Windows 7, you will run into the problem of not being able to insert new PMAC devices in the Select Devices dialog. This is true of all of the programs in the 4.3.2.0 version of the software, and in prior versions, as well. The easiest workaround that will not have your local sysadmin yelling at you is to configure the program to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. This does not require extended privileges at the system level or running the program as administrator, both of which can be a problem in locations ruled by security freaks as sysadmins. To configure the compatability mode, right click o…

This is my first post to the general forum so please excuse me if I'm posting in the wrong thread. I am able to communicate with a UMAC CPU using PEWIN32 Pro2 on a laptop running WIN 8.1 except that the Terminal dialog pops up a generic error message: "Class not registered". Other dialogs such as Position, Watch, etc. work fine. I suspect that this laptop is missing some COM or the likes that is normally expected in a WIN7 OS. Any idea what might be required? Thanks, Scott

Is there a comprehensive list of the end of life for all delta tau products (and what is obsolete)? Specifically I would like to know about Turbo and its last few predecessors.

PMAC tuning pro was working correctly earlier. Now, when it tries to download the auto-generated PLC code it generates an error because it puts the string "(null)" on five lines. serial cable pinouts

For those who need a serial cable ( RS232 or RS485 ) connection to a pmac board of any age I have attached the pdf containing all serial cable pinouts. Note: If using the old 26 pin connector the easiest thing is to use a press on ribbon cable DB25 connector to a press on ribbon cable IDC26 connector. Cut wire 26 at the DB25. Then use a standard DB25 to DB9 adapter. If using the 10 pin connector the easiest thing is to use a press on ribbon cable DB9 connector to a press on ribbon cable IDC10 connector. Cut wire 10 at the DB9. for search compatibility - RS-232 or RS-485 serial cable.pdf
