    Hi Steve, for power clipper able choose option 64 axes, it's mean that maximum driver communicate EtherCAT with power clipper is 64 units?

    Hi Richard, For option connect 4 axes with EtherCat interface, I have some doubt on it. EtherCat communication from delta tau to driver 1, driver 1 has two EtherCAT port and looping to other driver, even I/O devices, so why provide option 4 axes to 64 axes? What kind of application need add on it?

    HI Richard, I'm not saying that the analog output/ pulse & direction affect the application, just curious that if there is no use on it, maybe can add certain feature on standard board instead of buy option board stack on it. It's just my personal point of view. However, Where can I download the ACC-52ECx user manual?

    Other question that Power Clipper is EtherCAT controller for control multi-axis of driver through EtherCAT communication, right? Why standard on board of Power Clipper still provide 4 axes of analog output and pulse & direction output?

  9. Hi, I download software from : "http://www.deltatau.com/DT_Products/SoftwareDetails.aspx?CatID=100-Power%20PMAC%20IDE ". After installed and reset PC, error message pop up when open Power IDE software ( error message refer attached file). Hope can get advise on it. Power IDE software is free to use? not like PEWIN32 PRO2 need to purchase one?

  13. Hi, I want to ask that software on turbo clipper has the feature to set offset on each point of position? I mean that like call move a sequence of 500 point of position, but each position has a little offset due of mechanical backlash, it's software site has any feature to overcome it?
  14. For PC104, Why feedrate override % is not 100 at default? after power off and on back ,the % is always changed. need type %100 to change value into 100. it's any parameter address to fix it?
  15. Yes,default baud rate of delta tau is 38400. but I already changed baud rate setting I54=8, set to 9600.
  16. Hi Steve, RXD, TXD and RTS, CTS have reversed connect between HMI and delta tau. I have found that if HMI connect to PC, hyperterminal can receive ASCII send from HMI like "P2=12". When select communication setting to CTS and RTS flow control on HMI, it's appear "ERR004" error message from delta tau after press send button "P2=12". If communication setting on HMI set as no flow control, HMI click send button "P2=12" to delta tau, delta tau P-variable P2 has no changing and no error message pop up. Look like delta tau cannot recognize command from HMI. because I can change the P2 value through PEWIN32Pro2 software or hyperterminal without any problem. I have tried the HMI send ASCII to other controller and it's work. I just confusion that why this HMI cannot work on delta tau. Do you have any idea on it? communication setting.zip
  17. Hi, I'm tried connect delta tau PMAC PC104 delta HMI model:DOP-B04S211, but it's failed. i'm pretty sure on baud rate setting. My delta HMI just have RXD, TXD,GND, RTS and CTS. it's enough wiring connection to delta tau? because normally delta tau connect to PC through RS232 is used 7 wiring connection of 9 pin com port. I have apply same wiring to delta HMI also failed. I just want get advise on wiring connection between delta tau PMAC PC104 with delta HMI.
  18. I would like to move on SINE WAVE CHARACTERISTIC and below is the sample program I get through and can below the graph consider as SINE WAVE…? There are few question would like your advice base on the program as below.. 1. The position for X(P103)=5000 and the graph that I get is just 3300pulse..please advice… 2. What is the function for OutMag J(-P101) currently I set it to 0..it doesn’t affect my motor moving while set it to 10.. graph.zip

  22. Which parameter is use for control torque output and speed of motor? i have done setting refer user manaul: I900 = 1001 I901 = 2 I902 = 3 I906 = 1001 I9n6 = 0 ; n = channel number from 1 to 8 Ix69 = 1024 ; x = motor number from 1 to 8 I10 = 1710933
