21 CFR Part 11 Administrator — Administrator mode allows the defining of valid users, their passwords and their security levels. This Administrator, whose user name is I-PakAdmin and default password is 999999, is your Configuration Manager. This user is not a Programmer, a Supervisor nor an Operator.

In order to reset the 21 CFR Part 11 I-Pak Administrator password, use the registry editor (regedit), navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Visionscape\Visionscape I-Pak\Settings\Startup and modify the value "Admin_paswd". Once you have modified the value, then the login is "I-PakAdmin" and the password will be the value set in the registry. The defualt value is "999999".

The QX Hawk has a double IP rating. It is rated IP65/67. It is IP/65 because it is protected against low pressure jets if water from all directions - limited ingress permitted. It is IP/67 because it is protected against the effects of temporary immersion between 15cm and 1m for 30 minutes.

When using a USB to Ethernet adapter, there can be delays in command responses. This may result in ESP not uploading scanner settings, or partial upload of settings. The solution is to use a true Ethernet adapter.

You will have to convert the HT of the scanner to a keyboard tab. The scanners and imagers with a 5V interface all use the same trigger input scheme. The input is rated for 0-24VDC, which will make it compatible with most sensors. The Trigger input uses a 5V pull-up to hold the line in the High state. To activate the input, pull the trigger pin to zero volts, or use an NPN trigger signal.
